After three exciting qualifying rounds, players are ready to move forward on their path to glory, but firstly they will have to overcome their rivals during the Playoffs phase.
Eight teams—four per game—will face off to reach the Grand Finals of the UNIVERSITY Esports Split 2 this weekend, which will be supported by Riot Games and Samsung Electronics Italy. Playoffs’ matches, to be held on Saturday 29th (VALORANT) and Sunday 30th (League of Legends), will be streamed live on the official competition channel on Twitch (twitch.tv/uniesports_it).

The last VALORANT finalist teams will be present once again in the Playoffs phase. ‘UniPizza’ (Università di Pisa) and ‘Sapienza’ (Università Sapienza di Roma) will compete for a spot to become the next UNIVERSITY Esports champion, after the resounding victory of the team from the capital city in the Split 1 Grand Final. The rest of the list of qualified squads is completed by ‘UniTonti 2025’ (Università di Torino) and ‘UniTrento Esports’ (Università di Trento).
Who will reach a spot in League of Legends
Excitement is also guaranteed in League of Legends. The high competitive level seen in the last three qualifiers will be displayed during the Playoffs phase as well. The players of ‘IMPACT Unina’ (Università di Napoli Federico II) will try to revalidate their position as the last winning team of UNIVERSITY Esports. On their way to the Grand Finals, ‘PesiGod’ (Politecnico di Milano), ‘UniTN Esports’ (Università di Trento), and ‘UNIPV – Sgroda Isports’ (Università di Pavia) will do all their best to achieve the qualification.
