GAMERGY Egypt is launching its first edition in Egypt within two days, at Alburouj New Heliopolis by IMKAN Misr, from January 30 to February 1, 2025. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Esports Federation, the Festival event will bring together gamers, industry leaders, and esports enthusiasts to celebrate this dynamic and rapidly growing field.
GAMERGY Egypt is organized through a strategic collaboration between ievents, Influence Group, eProjects LLC, and MENATech Entertainment– a leading organiser of esports, gaming, and immersive entertainment events.
In the first edition of the event in Egypt and the region, GAMERGY Egypt is hosted and sponsored by IMKAN Misr at the state-of-the-art Alburouj New Heliopolis, whose visionary leadership and world-class facilities have set the stage for this groundbreaking event. The event is powered by e&, with entertainment partner Twist Music, official ticketing partner TicketsMarche, official energy drink Red Bull, and Samsung, which is providing mobile phones and TVs as the electronics partner. The Festival is also sponsored by Domty and the Export Development Bank of Egypt- EBank.
GAMERGY Egypt has the prominent participation of international esports teams, making it a vital platform for discovering skilled Egyptian players. The presence of international teams enhances the competitive environment, offering teams from the region the opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage. In addition to cosplay competitions, GAMERGY Egypt will host intense three-day tournaments of the most competitive games where gamers will showcase their skills and prowess, competing for a share of over 2 million EGP in prize money.
It is worth mentioning that this inaugural edition represents a significant milestone in GAMERGY’s commitment to fostering the growth of the esports field in Egypt, with future editions to follow, driven by the Egyptian market’s growing talents and capabilities to compete on international levels.
